With a background in international relations and economics from the University of Lagos and Oxford University, Okafor brings both academic excellence and practical experience to her role as Federal Chairperson. Her political journey began in the early 1990s as a grassroots organizer in Lagos, where she worked tirelessly to improve conditions in underserved communities. Her natural leadership abilities and unwavering commitment to social justice quickly elevated her through the ranks of Nigerian politics. Throughout her career, she has been a vocal advocate for women's rights, economic development, and democratic governance across Africa.
